Construction Estimator
We are looking for a qualified Public Works and Federal Projects Estimator for our growing company.
Necessary Skills:
Read, understand, and interpret project plans, specs, and bid documents
Review plans, specs, and bid documents to determine labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor
requirements
Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for management
Prepare material take-offs and determine production rates based on project plans, specs, and bid
documents
Consult with vendors, suppliers, etc to discuss pricing and solutions for estimates
Project types:
General construction, Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical elements for Public Works and Federally funded
projects
We are the GC on our projects and will need to work with Subcontractors as needed to complete the
requirements of the bid documents
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of professional experience in Estimating, renovations/ construction, and project management
Experience bidding or assisting in bidding as the GC for Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical projects
Ability to use Estimating software
Ability to attend pre-bid meetings as assigned.
Strong mathematical skills
Good communication skills
Valid Enhanced Driver’s License and clean driving record
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Competitive salary $50,000-$120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
